What is Men’s Minoxidil Topical Solution, 5% Extra Strength? Men’s Minoxidil Topical Solution, 5% Extra Strength is a colorless liquid medication that contains 5% minoxidil for use only on the scalp to help regrow hair in men.
Application Guide and Proper Use
Consistency and direct scalp contact are the keys to a successful treatment:
Dosage: Apply 1 mL twice a day in area where hair growth is needed (morning and night). Using more product or applying it more often will not improve results and may increase side effects.
Instructions:
Fill the dropper to the 1-ml mark.
Part your hair to expose the thinning area (crown).
Apply the liquid directly to the scalp and gently spread it with your fingers.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately afterward.
Time restrictions: Do not wash or wet your hair for at least 4 hours after application. Allow the solution to dry completely (2 to 4 hours) before putting on a hat or going to bed.
Styling Products: You may use hairsprays or gels, but only after the Minoxidil has dried completely.
Expectations and Maintenance
Hair regrowth is a slow process that requires patience; results do not happen overnight:
Timeline: Results may occur at 2 months, but for many , it takes at least 4 months of twice-daily use to see results.
Initial “Shedding”: During the first 2 weeks, you might notice a temporary increase in hair loss. This is normal; it means the follicles are shedding old hairs to make room for new, healthy ones.
Hair Quality: New growth may initially be soft, colorless, and downy (like peach fuzz). With continued use, it should become the same color and thickness as your other hair.
The Golden Rule: If you see regrowth and then stop using the product, you will lose all newly regrown hair within 3 to 4 months. Continuous use is necessary to maintain results.

Unknown Causes: Do not use if you are unsure why you are losing hair or if the loss is sudden and patchy.
Side Effects: The most common side effect is scalp itchiness or irritation. If you experience chest pain, rapid heartbeat, dizziness, or swelling of the hands/feet, stop use and see a doctor.
Avoid Facial Contact: Be careful not to let the liquid run onto your face to prevent unwanted hair growth on the forehead or cheeks.
Chemical Treatments: If you plan to color or perm your hair, do not use Minoxidil for 24 hours before and after the chemical treatment to avoid severe scalp irritation. If you have any questions ask your health care professional or contact us. Store controlled room Temperature 20 C. (68 to 77 F)

- avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes with large amounts of cool tap water.
- some individuals (people) have experienced changes in hair color and/or texture
- it takes time to regrow hair. Results may occur at 2 months with 2 times daily usage of this product. For some men, you may need to use this product for at least 4 months before you see results.

- sudden, unexplained weight gain occurs
- your hands or feet swell
- scalp irritation or redness occurs
